AD - Copper Ruby and Orphans!

Hi Y'all,

I've just listed two new auctions tonight. There's a great set of copper ruby on black with copper mesh and foil shapes under a layer of crystal clear. I've also listed a huge set of 151 beads containing Orphans and Short Sets. I dipped into my personal stash on this one because at the end of each year I realize I just won't have time to make all the jewelry I was planning on making. Over 6-1/2 FEET of beads!!!

Why don't you click on over and take a peek....

Dawn, the copper ruby set is really cool, I had no idea that it would show up that well against the black, I guess it must be reduced? Love the leaves as well!

Thanks David! That copper ruby frit I use is opaque. The encasing is what gets it to show up so well against the black because it brightens it a bit. Up close, it's such a nice velvety deep red. My husband always says the beads I make with it look sexy....LOL! Oddly enough, I tried reducing some on the surface of a bead and it doesn't do anything. I figured it would luster up and shine, but it doesn't.

LOL! What was the cause of death? The orphan overload or the copper ruby?
