AD: New beadies! Yay!

Brand-new beadies are up on the site... including one of my "Wave" series, some leaves, and a bunch of purple and greens (a color combination I was fixated on this week)

Have fun, and thanks!

Oh no. What did you get before I had a chance to see it? And what are you going to make? Have we seen you hear before?

Well a few hours ago I could have told you, it looks like she took the pictures down of the items I got. Lol I am a lurker, I cant give any input on beads : (' I have not found a Lampwork teacher in Houston yet. I wanted the 2 items for my sweetheart ). I would love to tell her I made them. I can just hear myself now, "Baby, do you think these look ok?" Hehehe.

I would always be glad to come to Houston to teach. Or you could come to Austin. Actually it works better for me to go to Houston so I can get to the beach. LOL

In case anybody is worried-- they're not nickle to quarter sized beads-- they're nice, quiet little beads.... Delicate little blossoms.... In glowing orange and turquoise. Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Hi Star, I wish you were located in Houston. My better half is in Austin untill Friday. Yes I may have to come to Austin, the way it's looking. I came home yesterday with 250.00 of odds and ends for jewelry making parts. You know I never wanted to make jewelry. I just wanted to flame and blow glass. But a little alarm went off in my head that said, "Hey dummy, you are going to have to make jewelry after you melt glass".

Ooops. There are plenty of beadmakers who don't make jewelry - they sell their beads, or just keep them in their greedy little paws.

That being said, $250 isn't the worst splurge on jewelry making stuff I've heard about - not by a long shot. Ask my husband - we have billions and billions of dollars worth of beads in our house, and he's stepped on every single one. :-)

Yeah, lots of beadmakers never make jewelry. I started off making jewelry and I much prefer making the beads. I love seeing what other folks do with them.
