Piggy backing or something (re post I found on google).

Scott, please don't feel you have nothing to say here.

This is a bead group. Though we have many fine lampworkers, most of us here are not lampworkers, and some don't even use them often.

What draws us together is that 1) we like and appreciate beads, and 2) we want to improve our knowledge and/or skill, and 3) that this is a nice community, and even support group.

I plan to visit my mother near Houston Space Center this winter. She lives on a bayou in Dickinson, about half way between downtown Houston and Galveston.

No!, she's just saying that to be polite!! She HATES orange! Don't give her any.... I need more of them to keep the ones I have company. BIG ones, 'cuz they're too little to go out in the world by themselves.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

A set would be lovely... but the way I shape them is very time consuming, and I worry that it would make a set too expensive? Probably around $70-$80 for a set of seven. They'd be a lot cheaper if I used a leaf masher, but I really like the way it look, doing the veining and shaping by hand.

I think they're about 8mm in diameter? They're packed safely away at the moment, so I can't measure them, but I remember them being little gems. Kaytee "Simplexities" on
