AD: New beadies! Yay!

Excellent!! And while we're at it, we might as well include straps on them, long enough to tie yourself to the chair so we don't go KLUNK!!! I mean, the drooling is messy, but the KLUNK can leave a mark! =o)

Yes, that's then! Oh, how I miss my tiny lentil masher! I though the XS upgrade to Corina's was going to have a tiny size, but no... there's three sizes but they all seem to be around 11mm, LOL!

You know, it's wierd, but I do have a whole array of pairs lined up on my bench right now. They were prototypes for sets. Hmmm....

Oh great, I was working at NASA back 1998 on the Space Station. It was a blast. I am a sheetmetal bender.

What did you use to make the tiny lentils? I've been wanting to make some lentils - but my ice tongs are bigger than what I want.

Hi Scott, welcome to RCB. :) I, too, worked at NASA many, many years ago. I worked for a contractor but worked on base in Bldg. 4. That was the Astronaut's building, at the time. We typed the flight plan and afterwards, typed the debriefings directly from the Astronaut's audio tapes about the mission. I was so young then that it was just a "job" and the importance of it didn't really sink in until I was much older (when I would have appreciated the experience for what it was).

I used the tiniest Tapcraft lentil tong. They're really inexpensive... only around $15... but they start to go out of alignment if you use them heavily.

I love my smallest tongs from Tapley. They are the only ones I kept when I upgraded to the CBS. I make all my remnant lentils from them.

What the heck is a remnant lentil? (dying to know)

It's part of my remnant beads. I keep even the smallest of stringer and use each one to create a bead without using a base color. It's takes a bit to get a footprint then I keep adding. They are very small. Ask Kathy what she thought of hers. LOL

Oh! What a great idea. I throw all my leftover stringer into a tub to be used to make my organic focals.
