AD: New Deepwood Art Auctions (and a bracelet story)

Hi all!

Ok, new auctions this week! These don't start until 9:00, 9:15, and

9:30 tonight (EDT) but you get to preview them anyway. Ready?

"Brandywine" is here:

"Greenberg" (as in Ms. Lori G, who gracefully allowed me to use her name) is here:

And "Mystic Minis" are here:

Also, check out the bracelet...

...and if you have time, the story that goes with it. That sort of thing has never happened to me before, and I would have never expected it to happen with a bracelet that I was test driving, of all things! Totally blew me away!

Anyway, that's it for now. Thanks for looking!

Yaaay, Fran. The story is so cool. And the bracelet. And the beads.

Ok... ok... I'm taking a deep breath now....

Yaaaay!

So you'll be in Starbucks again tomorrow? ;-D

I must say I can understand her ... I like it too (in Maren's engineer speak). I'm not a person to walk up to somebody and ask 'would you sell this to me', but, yeah.

I once bought the shirt off a guy's back (stinky guy sweat and all, EEEWWW!)--and I take bracelets and necklaces for test drives all the time, but I have yet to sell one off my person. Way to go, Fran!

Thank you, David!

At least they'd be looking? Lol! Here in Bel Air, MD *anyone* can get pretty strange looks if they're wearing anything just slightly off the beaten path. I just got lucky that day! :)

Thank you, thank you!! It's funny, though... the one piece I thought, going in, would be too much for our conservative little town, was the one piece that flew off my wrist. Go figure... there's hope for them yet. :)

Hon, I'm in Starbucks *every* day... I guess I better make more bracelets. Lol!

Can you imagine! At least she asked for the bracelet after she knew that making jewelry was my thing. :)

Thanks, Maren!

That must've been SOME shirt for you to want it so bad?! Lol!

Thanks, Georgia! :)

That's the ticket, Fran. Caffeine and classy beads. No one could ask for more.

It might be worth asking if you can have your own corner spot and set up a little easel!

;-D

Funny you would say that. A while back I asked if I could put my business cards on a little spot by their registers.

They said no. Lol!

So I'm thinking, the chance of a corner spot with an easel seems pretty slim.

Oh, but wait... That was *before* their customers started ripping bracelets off my wrist. Maybe it's time I request another audience with The Manager.

I love the Greenberg set! There is something soothing and hypnotic about being able to twirl beads slowly and savor them. Color, shape, mmmmmmm!

Congratulations on the bracelet sale! I bet the woman who bought it is still fondling it and wondering how she got so lucky to meet you that day :D

Absolutely, Fran. Does The Manager wear jewellery?

It doesn't have to be a big corner, after all. Your work is small but mighty!

blush~~ :)

The Manager is such a sweetheart, doesn't look much like a jewelry wearer, but maybe I'll try bribing her, anyway.
