AD - partly ad and partly not

First, I've made some drawer pulls for my grandmother, who sent me a swatch of her new bathroom fabric. I like them so much I want to show them off! The beads are huge for me - about 8mm x 20mm in diameter. Each bead took me about 45 minutes to make.

I loved the colors in these drawer pulls so much that I made a set of beads for ebay in the same color scheme.

I would love to know what you all think! :)

Oh, yes! I just wish there were more kinds of hardware. Grandma wants a bicone bead to hang from each one - kind of Victorian style. But I have yet to find that kind of hardware, and I don't wanna make it myself. These I got from Burgard Studios, and I don't think they have any other kind. But I love making them!!

Oh my - you've done it again :) I LOVE the drawer pulls - lucky Grandma! And I keep going to bid on those beads... but I know they are going to go way higher than my bead budget.... They would look so fab on a nice tropical tan :) (Not that I will have one of those any time soon).

Those are beautiful. When I redo my stuff can I "commission" you to do drawer pulls for me?

Debbie, you read my mind!!

So, Kandice???

It would be oooooooooooooooooooo cool to have cabinet and drawer handles that matched the ceiling fan pulls in my kitchen. Of course, I don't even have cabinet doors yet, but I think this is something worth saving up for!!

Thanks so much, Margie - and thanks to all who have commented! I agree about the colors really feeling like spring. And yep, my grandma is tops. The drawer pulls are a thank-you for something really sweet she did for me, and for just being her. Sometime I will tell the story, but it's long, so maybe later. Thanks everyone!!

Yeah your in trouble now....We know what you can do....There is no turning back now....

We all want drawer pulls! :)

I think they are gorgeous and a great way to personalize your own home. You could probably really make a killing making custom drawer pulls like those for people. I know I would be willing to spend 100 dollars or more for a set of 4 or 5.

Keep up the beautiful work Kandice. Someday I will win the lottery and be able to own another set of your beads, but until then, I guess I just have to drool along with everyone else...

Wooooo! New market! Seriously, though - those mothers take me 45 minutes apiece to make, so they wouldn't be inexpensive. At all. :D I loved doing them though, so maybe. Juuuuuust maybe. :) I'm right there with you on that lottery thing. **sigh** Someday....
