Gah!....all I can see is that I misspelled Yangtze! I do that kind of thing when I'm tired.

Check Google sometime for Three Gorges Dam....sometimes, progress breaks your heart. Especially when it interrupts the lives of so many...and buries archeological treasure beyond belief.

I suppose when any country that old and that has waited so long to give in to progress for its people...it's inevitable that people get hurt in the rush to catch up. On some level...I understand their trying...but at the same time...I'm saddened by what's being given up by families that have lived on the same land and in the same house for hundreds of years.

It's almost beyond comprehension what they must be feeling. I only hope and pray the project helps more than it hurts.
