AD- The Early Bead Gets the Worm!

Apr 24, 2006 8 Replies

Today I got done a bit early because Breezy is getting to the point in her pregnancy where she's a little more tired and needs to shorten her days - so for a few weeks, you will probably be seeing my beads go up at around 2:30 PST instead of the usual 3:30. She only has a little bit to go before she's expecting her little one... I can't wait to meet her! My friends Cori and Lori are helping out with shipping, and pretty soon Zach will be here as Breezy's maternity-leave coverage, so I'm not expecting any slowdowns in that area.

This week's yield is similar in many ways to last week... I've been really letting go of my self-imposed expectations and letting myself play. My infatuation with metallic scrolls has bloomed into a full-blown love affair, and I also made some dangly charms for cell phones or purses, or whatever you want to attach them to. :)

Thanks for looking!

I'm an IDIOT! I looked around 4 p.m. and wondered what was going on. Only a few new things were up, no pairs. THEY WERE ALL GONE! I was bereft! I was hysterical! I NEEDED to see the new Monday stuff because I'd just dropped Marisa AU/NZ off to go back home. AAAAUUGHH!!! NO KaleraBeads! It was horrible BEYOND BELIEF.

whew..I got there just in time to snag another caged set. I had to mow the lawn when I got home from work at 5:00, and the whole time I was thinking "dammit, mower, isn't there a warp speed option on here somewhere?? beads will be going up soon!"

-Amber.

missed the Auburn Prism Boro while discussing with Kalera by email whether it would mix with the Sienna Boro that I got in January (she says it probably would - boohoo) ...

wish the lawn was mowable again already (I think I got to go over it with the weedwacker a second time. First go-around took about

6 hours. We're talking about 1/4 acre of hilly lawn here.).

and, yeah, admit some envy about getting home from work at 5.

- I get Kalera's bead postings in my lunch break though. Eat sandwich in front of computer. Like now, only this time it's potato maccaroni salad. And work in my lunchbreak. Is what you get for eating your lunch at your desk. -

yeah..I learned not to eat lunch at my desk. as soon as I take a mouthful of food, the phone will ring. or someone will come up and want something.

I like getting off work at 5:00, but having to be up for work by 6:00 AM is something I could do without. ah well..I can't complain too much, though..I've gotten used to the early morning hours.

mine is more of the "work will expand to take up all available time" sort ... (in return it allows things like usenet posts in the middle of work, so most of the time I'm not really complaining either)
