Hi! This week's haul reflects an attempt to escape and capture pure, bright colors in the wake of a hectic week... this week you can see in my work complexity abandoned in favor of simplicity; bright, candylike colors, lots of transparent hues, and a sense of sitting in the bright-blue, sea-animal-cartooned wading pool of youth and eating a dripping Otter Pop as it melts away in the July sun.

It's so fun to watch Kalera's beads go up every Monday. Each one makes me go Ooooooo and Ahhhhhhhh. Makes every Monday afternoon like opening a present.
Then I'm sitting there wanting those beads so damn bad. Here comes an even better set. I want those too.
Oh they are so pretty! Magical. I want them. I should not buy them because I already have MANY sets of Kalera beads and I don't even make jewelry!
I should be saving money for other important things like retirement or college fund or some such mundane purpose.
I don't care! Should I get them anyway? Should I not? Should I get BOTH sets? I want to lick them.
While having this argument with myself and agonizing if I should just go ahead and indulge, just this one more time,
POOF! they are gone. BOTH sets i was drooling over.
