Ellen, hot damn but those are gorgeous! You know, I just watched a fashion blurb on 'E' that talked about the colors that are going to be worn at the Emmys this year. The woman said Purple and Coral were going to be big colors, along with 5-7 strand necklaces. Both of your auctions fit that bill because the Peach Pillows you have up can go with certain shades of Coral quite nicely.

Your beads are amazing.

The other neat thing is that your style is very, very different from any other lampworkers who post here.

Too bad I can't afford your work :)

If you change the "frame" and the heading of purple flowers to yellow, Ellen, your beads will look a lot more purple. Did you know that? The surrounding colors look overwhelmingly purple with the purple beads, of course, but you will show the beads themselves off even better if you frame them with a complementary color instead of their own hue. (And with purple, that's yellow.) Even a little yellow in the surrounding colors will make the beads' color pop.

Yeah. Those beads are INCREDIBLE. Simplicity can be utterly transcendantly gorgeous. Look at Audrey Hepburn. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Thanks for the advice, Sooz! I appreciate it. I actually never thought of that but it really makes sense.
