]I have three piercings in each ear lobe. I thought it would be really nice ]to have three posts with a dainty chain, with beads on it, joining the ]three together. Maybe the posts could have coordinating cabachons on them ]too? I am not a jewelry maker so I have no idea if this is feasible, or even ]if it would look nice.
ooooooooh - NICE idea! brings to mind all kinds of interesting possibilities!!

Ive been playing with an idea for some time now and thought, what the heck.. maybe someone here can take the idea and run with it. I have three piercings in each ear lobe. I thought it would be really nice to have three posts with a dainty chain, with beads on it, joining the three together. Maybe the posts could have coordinating cabachons on them too? I am not a jewelry maker so I have no idea if this is feasible, or even if it would look nice. Have any of you done anything similar to this? Seen anything like it? Diana

Im sure thats where my idea started brewing. I loved the Barjoran earrings... but didnt they go to the nose? I havent seen DS9 in ages and dont remember. Thanks for the neat link Barbara! Diana
Go for it! Di
I was hoping! Diana
I actually did something odd back in HS with MY triple pierced ears. Got a piece of fine gauge wire, put an end in big enough to go through my ears (little piece of metal with a hole at one end) and threaded it through my holes. Very comfortable to sleep in (no backs) just had to remember to move in around on occasion. Keep in mind I used to wear three pair of fish hooks in each hole (can we say heavey metal 80's?) with big metal dangles/fishing lures on them so the holes were pretty stretched out. Couldn't do that now

I've had this idea of the multiple posts on one BIG earring for a while. (three posts with an ear cuff and multiple dangles) Still looking for that round tuit! Anybody out there work with metal? Make some metal discs, stamp/etch or otherwise imprint TUIT on it, punch a hole for a keychain or the like, make a fortune on E-bay and send me 5% of the profit (and the first one you make) Any takers?

]Hate to burst the bubble, but it's been done. I got one in stainless steel ]from some charity, urging me to give money now, because I got "a round tuit."
but we want ones we can make jewelry out of!

Little "charming" earring dangles? A whole bracelet of them? (Then you have NO excuse!) It would basically be a re-do of a (very) old idea (My parents had a wooden one - like a wooden nickle or bar token) How about multi-colored poly-clay ones? (The possibilities are endless)

Yes. Also on earwires, with connections between. And earpost/wire with connection(s) to a ear cuff. I've even made custom sets for people-- the first time was several years ago when the Chargers were at the Superbowl here in San Diego. I made a 3-earwire connected "earring" for a friend's multiply pierced ear and a co-ordinating single wire for her other ear, also multiply pierced, but with "must wear" studs taking up the other holes. I've also made the earring connected to ear cuff + coordinating earing sets-- evidently, they are "Bajoran" fashion items.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on
Prairieson occasionally wears one of these. It is SO darn hot :-)
No, they were standard earrings, just very fancy.

It counts. LOL. I know!! The earrings with the chain to the nose are what Seafaring people in the Wheel of Time series wear. *Robert Jordans wonderful series). I keep picturing someone getting a finger caught in the chain and ...riiiiiip! OUCH! Diana
ring/stud....
:) My dad had one of those in his pocket for years. :)
Ooo, I know! Especially since the people seem pretty violent too...
