I've looked at so many website the last few days that I'm not sure if this was on one of Sooz's lists or not. Anyway, they have some reasonably priced kits available if y'all would like to try this before going whole hog...

I bought a silver link bracelet *exactly like that from the seller 'uniquevn' on eBay back in Nov., 2002 for $4.50. The clasp was very nice, with a locking tip that fit over a tiny ball. You can barely distinguish the clasp from the other links.
It was advertised as a "Vietnamese Silver Bracelet", but unfortunately the seller doesn't have any items up on auction right now. Perhaps you could email him.

Making them was my initial thought, but my metalworking skills are so rudimentary that the effort/labor I would put in would drive my price way up. I think. And I don't have the stuff I would need to do silver soldering :-( although it's all on my Wish List...

I use 104-CB22. If the charms or danglies or whatever that you want to put on it are very large, you might want to go with something bigger. It's a sturdy chain, but the links are smaller, maybe 1/4".
