BABE?

Just checking to see if it would be worth it for us to do this show. We normally don't do any shows this close to home, but I have had a few customers request that we do it.

In order for it to be worth it, we would need to bring a large amount of product which means paying for a larger space. I believe I can get that space, and would like to let her know asap.

So, if you sell at this show, is it a decent one? If you attend this show, would you like to see us there? Do you think it worth the effort to pay for and set-up a show that is just a little over an hour down the road?

Thanks for your time! Beki

YES. I never see enough seed beads at BABE. It drives me crazy.

The other local bead stores seem to think so....they're ALWAYS there. Baubles & Beads never misses it, and they're only 5 minutes away. (AND open the days of the show.) It's terrific publicity if people don't realize your store is there. (I wouldn't have known you were there, Beki, if it weren't for RCB.) ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Also, people come from out of town for BABE. Unfortunately I won't be able to go this year. But usually I get to the Bay Area at least once a year, and would be happy to find a vendor I could go to when the show isn't on.

Yeah. Not too big, but way big enough for wallowing gluttony. Like Goldilocks said -- JUST RIGHT. Lots of lampworkers, lots of almost everything -- not enough seed beads. The only hole in the show, IMO. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Pun intended, Soozala?

And Beki, even though I won't be at the show, as one of the "big girls," I think you really _need_ to be there. If only to maintain your status as an "Alpha Bead B*tch", for want of a better term.

Even if your shop were across the street, I'd recommend that you be at BABE. It's important that you have a strong presence at all the biggest shows, simply because you are so well known.

Just my two cents,

Beki -- if you need help, let me know. I will be in town for BABE.
