I got my December's Bead and Button magazine yesterday, and what to my wondering eyes should appear - a gorgeous bead made by our very own Beadbimbo, Jerri!

BTW, the rest of the issue is _amazing_ eye candy: they have a section showing their featured lampworkers throughout the years and the progress they've made. Stunning. But I'm biased: I like Jerri's best.

Thanks Kathy and Tink!! I'm pretty excited about my brush with fame. Ha. Ha. My 9 yr. old is pretty thrilled to see her mom in print and keeps remining me that not only is it the biggest issue, but it's a Collector's Edition! Lol.

I just received my issue - congratulations!
If I might ask, how did the submission and selection process work in your case? I have a project I would like to submit. I see that B+B tells you to submit a photo but they might then borrow the item to photograph it themselves - so I am curious as to how the process works and what type of photo you sent them.

I sent them a digital pic through e-mail and then they asked me to mail
6-8 beads in for them to photograph. They must get a lot of submissions. I think I first contacted them in Feb., and then was told I'd be in the Dec. issue.Go for it!
