Best source for curved tubes for bangle bracelets?

I can't find any in town so it looks like I have to go hunt on-line. I looked on e-Bay but the only curved tubes are pretty skinny and I want the sort of clumky ones that make bangles. I know there are some Bali silver ones but I don't know who the best source for them is. I looked in my Rio Grande catalog and they have pretty plain, unadorned ones that don't look particularly hefty either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I've looked at those "bangles" made with curved tubes. They look nice in photos, but the tubes would be at the narrow dimension of the wrist when worn. At best the shape of the bracelet would be square when worn, rather than having the long beads along the long dimension of the bracelet.

Have you made bracelets like these yet? (I don't like wearing bracelets, so am less inclined to experiment with them.)

No, I haven't made bracelets like this. Dang, so they aren't as comfortable as the pictures would lead us to believe, eh?

So I guess I need to do this the old-fashioned way and be artistic or something. : )

They carry those change a bead curved Bali bangles and you can wire wrap between the beads or used curved tubes. Their beads look beautiful and they have a $10.00 minimum order. Prices, at least for the bangles themselves, are comparable to what I've paid at bead shows. Patti

Thanks for this link, Patti! It has been a real help. I can't believe how hosed I am getting for simple hook clasps by my local bead shops!!!

Thanks again!

I have made them -- I use 1 curved bead per bracelet, not the super long ones, and positioned on the top or the bottom, a bit off center. With the bracelets with the wire core, they don't bend anyway so it doesn't matter much where you put them as long as the final shape is okay.

The curved beads are also fun to use with leather!

To Sandy -- I got mine on eBay, direct from Thailand, they are actually Hill Tribe (Karen) silver.

I've purchased beads from them at shows. their shipping is a bit high, though, or at least it seemed that way to me..I live in kentucky, they're in indiana, and their estimated shipping was $7.35, via UPS. which I guess explains the cost, but it's the only option and it'd be nice if they offered USPS shipping.

anyways, they do have some really nice bangle and necklace tubes:

Thanks to everyone who replied on this thread. You were a great help. I now have lots of places to look and hopefully, after my weekend sale, money to buy lots and lots of stuff.
