BFNR You crafty people but I love you.

I am overwhelmed by the love and generosity that you have shown to me buy sending a BFNR. I have been sat for 2hours opening little boxes and tiny bags and finding treasure therein. I have sat fondling each item and wiped away a tear or two.

I want to thank each and everyone of you, and you know who you are, for sending me this lovely surprise. It has made me feel quite perky again. It as been a long dull winter for me and I have been feeling very much less than my best.

When I first opened it I thought they were for my begging appeal but then I saw the most wonderful bead from David and I knew otherwise.

I found Barbara's phone number on the Internet and I have just called her to thank her for arranging it.

Thank you all my special friends, my life has been enriched by knowing you all, even if it is through cyber space.

At last the sun has decided to pay us a visit and I have been able to sit on my swing. I took a picture and put it on my website so you can see what I am looking at down my garden. When I get a few minutes I will photograph my new treasure and put them up also so you may all see what I have received.

Love and hugs to you all Shirley

I'm sorry for butting in, but what is a BFNR, please?

Cindy,

BFNR is Beads for No Reason - a beady gift, sometimes a group effort but not always, sent to an RCB friend in need of a lift..or for no reason at all.

How wonderful! I think I've stumbled onto a great group of people.

I'm a medical transcriptionist by trade and our newsgroup consists of mostly women who fight like cats and dogs but are always there for each other when needed. It's like family where you can hate and love each other at the same time, you know?

I think I prefer the loving part, lol.
