After lots of great suggestions, the two books I picked up for my trip are: Digital Fortress and Becoming Mona Lisa.

isn't he CUTE? and so enthusiastic. CNN has rerun their pieces on him several times, as part of their "this is the future" series, or whatever they call it.
and to top it all off, it really IS a good book!

I wanna read it too! I read an interview with the young man and he sounded like such a neat kid and very well grounded about his sudden fame.

plan it for a LONG weekend! it's a HUGE book! undoubtedly in the library - that's where he and his mom took them first when they were selling them on their own before he was picked up by Knopf. amazing kid!
