Okay ladies. Since I'm so new at lampworking I'm stoked because I made my first real sculptural bead tonight! I purchased the book on Sharon Peter's works and made the cat head tonight. I'm working on the body in a few minutes, but I had to come and say it was a blast!
Okay, now the story to the bracelet I'm making. It's the cat bracelet with the long tail in Sharon's book. The reason I'm making it is kinda funny. It's for one of my husband's customers for Dell. She is in her late 20's and the longest relationship she has ever had with a man is with my husband. He teases her because she has one cat, lives alone, and doesn't have a boyfriend.
Anyhow, Jen has to have surgery next week. It's kinda serious and we are sending her a gift package. I'm making cookies and the bracelet. My hubby got her a subscription to Cat Fancy (bad man). I'm also going to make her some other jewelry and will post it as I make it.
Anyhow, that's the awful story to the wonderful set of beads I'm making. I hope I have enough black! They ran out of the black at the glass store the other day when I purchased the last four rods. I'm down to two good ones, and two nubbies.
