Here are the instructions I used:
Tonight while at our trunk show we sold a large byz watch (face bought for less than $5 at WalMart) for 225.00 I do use 16G 3.5 and it makes a great watch...one more petite customer loved the look, and I was able to make her a single strand watch while at the show. I cut my own rings, but about a month ago, I ran out of wire !!! and in order to meet a deadline, I ordered some of Aislyn's rings. They are as good as mine which I was pleased about...I sell a lot of chainmaille jewelry and many customers are repeats.
I have a scan of the "big'un" and some other bracelets, but neglected to get a pic of the watch made on the spot.
I would LOVE to see a pic of both of these... And more, of course. LOL!
I'll load them, as well as the one that I notice my sistah grabbed that didn't sell! A great weave with a wrapped pearl dangle.
Tink: I uploaded (I think) a couple of pics of a small byz, a japanese 6 in 1 and the byz watch.
When I get the other woven bracelet from my sis, I will scan and upload.
Beeeyoooteeeful! I just LOVE that watch face! You do really nice work!!!
Lisa -- would love to see what you are talking about. It is similar to MJ's bracelet (which is HOT)?

Thanks, Tink. The watch face is from my favorite vendor..WalMart. I have reached the age of reading glasses, and that's about the age of our customer, and they have been asking for large faces. This one is stainless steel, cost under 5.00. My sister gets them at "her" WalMart in Wyoming ... they are always marked down !!!
I have made some with sterling watches...they sell for nearly 300.00, but they are made by request only. Most of the ladies want don't care, because these faces look great, are nice and big, and what touches the skin is stainless...just as the sterling faces are.
Have fun. There are a couple of other weaves I do a lot besides the Japanese 6/1, which people also really love. The weave makes great chandelier earrings.
Don't you just love maille??
Becki: I posted the link this morning, but here it is again:
