Horn Tootin' Proud

Another note just to let you all know that I'm on the cover of Lapidary Journal's Step by Step Beads for the Mar/Apr 2006 issue. Well, I'm not on the cover but my Riveted Lampwork beads are and the how-to is inside.

And of course there isn't a link to the actual copy of the issue but if you go to my site you can see a picture of the cover.

Even though it's March/April, it will probably only be on the newstands until about April 1 because then the next issue appears.

Well done. The only drawback to being in New Zealand is we don't get to see these magazines in the book shops unless you live in the cities or subscribe.

I bought that issue just because my favorite lampworker's beads were on the cover!

I love how artists like Lori and Shannon and Dawn share their techniques with others. It keeps the craft alive. I've know so many beaders who keep their knowledge to themselves and never pass it on. I love teaching others and watching their faces when they put on their accomplishment.

Thanks, Lori, for passing it on. And thanks for making such awesomely droolworthy beads. I'm proud to own several of your lovelies.
