How I spent my morning..........

I taught a beaded ornament drape class at our local Ben Franklin. What a blast! I had four people in the class and each of them will end up with a slightly different drape. Mis-reading my directions is NOT a cardinal sin with me. It shows a creative spirit and I encourage that.

The really cool thing is that I may end up teaching the class at the local library now. One of the women said she had to learn how to do it so she could teach it at the library. I wished her well writing instructions and she said, "Why? I have yours." I politely told her that would be copyright infringement. She said not if I allowed it. Since I am just a beginner, I know that getting your name out there can be a good thing. I told her I'd like to add my © to it and tweak the photos. She agreed and then asked if I'd teach it. I asked if it was a volunteer thing or paid. I'd do it either way but I like some sort of pay. I'll work cheap. :-) If it's a freebie, I'll do it as an outreach project for my local EGA chapter - never know who wants to join the guild.

I guess I *really* need edit those directions now and make sure all of my i's are crossed and t's are dotted, huh?
