What is best adhesive for beads to glass?
What are the beads made of? I use fast setting two-part epoxy for gluing bell caps to lampwork on some earrings I make. There is a web site that covers adhesives for most applications,
I've used E6000 and it did great.
vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "Louis Cage" :

Make sure you use a good quality epoxy. Some will become brittle over time. Some don't like to get wet. Some don't like excess exposure to sunlight. I use a two ton rated epoxy to glue my goblet tops to the stems. I haven't had any come back for glue failure yet, but its only been 4 years... E6000 is still the easiest thing on the market to use for just about anything. So long as the tube is fresh. Once it becomes hard to squeeze out of the tube, just throw it away. The hold won't be strong enough after that. And it doesn't care if it gets wet or sees the sun. Just keeps on keeping on. Barbara Dream Master

Yes, but it doesn't include "stone" as one of the options. Anyone got a good suggestion for gluing metal pin backs onto a flat carved stone?

Actually E6000 is a great choice for that. It just SMELLS to high heaven. Can't stand the shit.
