I just got a message *supposedly* from ebay. I have a funny feeling that ebay would know better than to send me an email from "ebay costumers service" and a subject of "Your eBay account (Urget attention)".
I guess you could bid on costumes but I never knew that they had a costumers service department. Maybe that's why they need my urget attention, huh?
(You'd think they'd at least check their spelling first, wouldn't you?)

yeah...and like the spoof mail i've been getting all week from someone who claims to be from earthlink. It says that they tried billing our card, and it wouldn't go through....the DAY AFTER our online invoice was emailed to us. LOL. I went to the site they'd set up, and they wanted our debit card number AND the pin number. That's pretty blatent, i'd think...and i just can't imagine anyone being foolish enough to fall for it, though i'm sure they do...sigh

I got that too... although I must say that at first glance it looked official. But the misspelled words and the links that were redirected from aol were dead giveaways. Just like the email from Microsoft Security that starts the very first sentence with a lower case letter... I'm sure that would happen. LOL Gennie
