I feel like I could cry reading that. I know exactly how you feel... But you are still you...(and I need to tell myself this often) you just have limits now. The inside hasn't changed, just the damn failing shell you have to live in.

That may be part of what she's afraid of. She's so enthusiastic she has to work at not doing what she wants and incurring heavy "pain debt".
