Be good while I'm gone!

Well, I'll probably be signing off until next tuesday. Tomorrow is my DHs birthday and we have plenty to celebrate so I won't be online. I will be taking him to dinner and then gorging myself on a big slice of his chocolate mousse birthday cake waiting for us at my sister's house. I am surprising him with a brand new PC! He is currently using a 133 Mhz machine! The new one is a 2.6 gigahertz with 120 GB hard drive! It's hiding at my sisters, thus the reason to go there for cake! I'm going to present him with a "Windows XP for Dummies" book and see if he gets the hint.

Then on Thursday, I have to get home quick to pick up the pups, get them to the kennel, oh, sorry - Pet resort and Spa - and then get me a mile down the road to get a hair cut. Then home to pack for my trip at 5am Friday morning to Florida to see mom for the weekend. My brother is coming in from Houston as well, and I have not seen him in about 10 years, longer for mom so this is a really surprise for her! Lots to do for mom while we are there so it's going to be a busy weekend. Having a BBQ at my sons on Saturday (mom says it her "living wake") and we'll have tons of family there which will be nice for mom. Then we head home on Sunday morning on the Autotrain. My sister stays until the 24th, though, finishing up all the arrangements and bringing mom home from rehab. I think we have all the bases covered.

So, fair thee well, and no flame wars while I'm gone. My son has a PC so I can get to Google to see what you're up to, but I'll be back online on Monday. Just in case you don't get the post card - "having a wonderful time, wish you were here".

We will not try to be good. That is asking too much. We will, however, try to be kind. Wishing you a safe and happy trip. Polly

Don't even think about it! I left Scraps and Gypsy on guard duty! And Tux is on duty in the garage so you can't sneak in that door either! My SIL will be stopping by just to check on things and, trust me, you don't want to cross her path!

Alice - now packed and ready to go - and hiding the exploding ink packets in her stash before she leaves!

Oh, see, I would never hide exploding ink in my stash. I can't see ruining fabric even if someone is stealing it. Sigh.

Have a good time!
