I am still so excited. I've been waiting for Jennifer Geldard to make a bead that called to me. I've been a long time fan of her work. I wasn't really expecting to like this bead, but it called to me. I don't know if it was the stars, the twirls, or what....but it's mine!

And, referring to my other complaints (personal ones) on another thread, I am doing noticeably better today, after putting into effect some survivial techniques. Whew. (Plus there's a bit of sun today) GRATEFUL.

Well I 've been out of town alot (happens when the BF lives 3 1/2 hours away). But you know that I send you gi-huge-ent hugs and feel better vibes!!!
I've marked a lot of posts as read and am just now starting to play catch up.
Have you been put on Methadone? Are you doing OK on it? I have a friend on morphine patch, and it sometimes makes her kind of out of reach. Unaware.

I was wondering the same thing. I can't be on morphine. The wicked witch's sisters show up. All of them. LOL
Honestly, when I broke my leg and had a morphine drip into my spine I was a different person. I threw things, I yelled, and only two nurses would take care of me. For two weeks straight they were on 12 hour shifts with me. The only reason I would put up with them is that I knew one and the other one was my sister in law's boyfriend's mother.
I heard the nurses ask why I had tons of flowers and visitors as mean as I was. Once I was off the morphine I came back to my cheerful happy, helpful self. Boy what a difference it made.
hmmmm..... I wonder which is worse, having medication that works but makes you out of it or medication that has no measurable effect in any way. I have an extreme resistance to medication... from asprin to morphine to drugs to keep me sane. My DH takes 2 asprin and gets woogy. Just open the bottle of tylenol 3 and wave it under his nose and he is gone for 12 hours. I on the other hand, take medication in doses that are frightening, and have no effect (pain medications) and little effect (sanity drugs). I'd give anything sometimes to have a pain med that worked, even if it put me out. or sanity drugs that I didn't have to take 19 at a time. I guess we always want that which we don't have.
Feel better, think spring. find a sunbeam to sit in. Cats truly have it figured out.

Oooohh, that is awesome! I love her work. I have one of her hollow beads, and it's amazing in person. I was really broke when I bid on it, and part of me was saying "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" but as soon as I got it, all doubts melted away. Her beads are treasure!
