My first painted bead

Man, and I thought making little ACEO cards was difficult! I painted one of the beads I made a few weeks ago:

It's about 1" wide and 1.5" tall, and 3/8ths of an inch thick. Best, Christine

It looks so natural with the stance of the horse. Lovely, well done. Shirley

I love it! I'd call it a pendant though. Would look lovely in a necklace. Is it for sale?

Nice. What did you paint with? I have some beads I made long ago, ceramic painted with airplane model enamel.

Hi Tina,

Thanks :-) I used a bunch of different ones - Apple Barrel paint for the pink and greens (I believe), Ceramcoat for the sky, and then because I didn't have any browns, artist acrylics for the horse :-). I also added to the mane with Micron pen. I bought a Delta paint on sealer, but I haven't done that yet...I was out of town on the weekend. I'm itching to get some new paint now though!

Best, Christine

Yes, it certainly does. I came across some old drawings and it was like, eeek! Did I draw that?? It's taken me seven years to get where I'm drawing now. I'll be pretty darn good by my 40s! I posted a new pendant, I did get my smaller brushes and it really helped.
