(Doing this real quick before I go get kiddos from school...I'll catch up with posts later.)
I know how much most of us here love to do recipe pages, and, well, I found something today...at Wal Mart none the less! The Wal Mart I went to today had a line up called "Cookbookin'". There was embellishments, papers, recipe cards, and albums...all coordinating and everything. I was actually pretty impressed since it seems kind of difficult to find recipe type stuff.
3D stickers, charms, other embellishments. A few page kits or small album kits, if I remember right. One of the albums that I really liked was red and white checkered, reminded me of the original Betty Crocker cookbook that my mom has. It's a 3 ring binder, about 1 inch thick, holds 8 1/2 x 11 pages, and comes with a stand so you can stand it up. It's a hard cover, too, not flexible. I really like this album! I'm going to have to get me 3 or 4 of them for our family cookbook that I want to redo. (It was simply done on a word processor 16 years ago.) I was pretty impressed with the whole line. Really cute stuff!Ok, done my enableing duty for the day. Off to pick up kids!
