Recipe I scrapped

I decided that I had the Jolee's for this recipe and I've been wanting to scrap it ever since I got them about a year ago. I finally sat down and did it :) It's a Weight Watchers Recipe called Chili Beans & Corn.

The funny this is that I decided on a size that I've seen other people scrap before which is 8x8 and I don't have an album yet to put the recipe in LOL. Hubby liked it so much that he said I should put it in a page protector and just set it up on a stand in our kitchen :)

It's in my webshots account under recipes. Thanks for looking.

Love the corn embellishment. The recipe sounds good, too. My recipe albums are 8.5 x 11 so I can use 3-ring binders and standard sheet protectors.

Love the layout Tabitha. How fun to scrap recipes. Of course, I don't have any recipes to scrap. LOL.

Cute! And, yes, love the corn embellishment. Sometimes we have recipe swaps. those are fun cuz you can create a recipe book filled with RCS favorite recipes that have been scrapped. Pretty special. Enjoy your new world of 8x8 scrapping!

I got the corn on clearance at one of our craft stores. When I saw it I just knew what I wanted to use it for. Just took me awhile to do that LOL

Thank you Sandy!

That's exactly what my husband said too :) I had it in the kitchen last night on a stand so that I could take the picture and he said that it looked great on there! He also said we could buy another stand and put it in a page protector or buy a frame and frame it :)

Thank you Darlene!

Thank you Crystal! Is there any recipe that you've cooked before that you really love? If so scrap that.

Thank you Melissa!

I've joined 2 RCS recipe swaps before. Everyone is very talented here!

It looks great Tabby! I agree with your DH, you need to leave it out on a stand somehow. :-) I've done one or two of the RCS recipe swaps so I've decided to keep any recipe LOs to 8 1/2 x 11. One of these days, I'm going to redo the family cookbook my mom made for each of us kids into LOs. WalMart carries some really cute cooking themed stuff!

Thank you Deb! I'm thinking of doing the same layout for my mom for Mother's Day and putting it into an 8x8 frame. That's the idea anyways :)

That would be really neat. I've started to ask DH's parents and my parents for recipes that we like that they make.

I have seen the cooking stuff at Wal-Mart. Our Wal-Mart doesn't carry it, but other Wal-Mart's do.
