Halloween Treat Bags & Witches Shoes

I made Treat Bags for Abby's Kindergarten glass :) Only 16. Then today I was checking out the group while cutting things out and saw Lynne's post about her Witches Shoes. I thought that would be perfect for Abby's teacher and her teachers helper. I was running out of time so hubby helped me out and made the shoes for me :) I told him what I wanted and he did it :) What a hubby!!!

You can find the treat bags and the witches shoes in my webshots account under Misc. on the 3rd page.

Thanks for looking, Tabby

Adorable bags. I'm sure the class will be very excited to get those. Our school are so weird any more. Ours is a fall party. And it was last week. I remember when I was a kid we used to get into our costumes and parade in the hallways. We would even have contests to see who had the best costumes. It just as fun. Then the Christmas party is a winter party. Where has this world gone to. Sorry to vent. I love the shoes. I didn't get around to make them, but I want to next year. I am so jealous of your husband. My husband might if I begged and begged and begged. He has been in my scraproom, but it's to use my tools to make a gasket for some piece of equipment he's working on. LOL. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I always love to see what others have done.

My husband would make witch shoes if I asked him. I'm just not sure he could do it. I may have to test him. Actually, he'd asked me SO many questions I'd just end up doing it myself to shut him up. hahaha

LOL

Eric was very creative on how he made the shoes. He printed out the pattern and then taped it to the the black paper and then used my glass cutting mat and an exacto knife. Then he used my scoring blade on the cutterpede. Then instead of using the pattern for the insert he just cut apart the shoe patter and then tape, scored etc. :) I don't think that I would have thought of all of this myself :) I would have traced the pattern and then tried using a popsicle stick to score with LOL

Thank you Jacqui! She really liked them! :) She's pretty crafty herself. She made everyone in the class a scarecrow with their face on it. She also sent home a goodie bag filled with goodies and the bag had their name on the back of it. I'll put a picture of the scarecrow up on my webshots account so everyone can see. Jacqui I have the pictures on myspace page as well.

Cute scarecrow. They are huge. I was expecting something little. She put a lot of work into those. How many kids are in the class. Wonder what she will do at Christmas. :)

Thank you Shannon! It is pretty big :) There are 16 kids in the class. I know that she sent home a letter awhile back asking for clothes that you didn't want anymore. Plus in the letter she said that her family and her are very crafty. So I'm thinking that her family helped her. I didn't know what to expect and I had no idea that Abby's face would be on there as well :) All the kids including Abby kept calling them their twins :)
