My turn to ask for vibes...

As I may or may not have mentioned about 60,000 times, we are in the process of buying a new house, and today the loan guy called to get the last few pieces of paperwork before we close next week... checking and savings account statements, and my most recent paystub.

I am SOOO nervous that my extended maternity leave will ruin our loan! I'm also nervous that we'll run out of cash before closing! I'm just terrified that something will mess this up for us; I can't bear the thought. We are in love with this house, and we NEED more space so badly with three kids, and the location is perfect, and did I mention how much we love this house???

Thanks for any prayers, good thoughts, vibes, spells, energy, or etc. that you can send my way!

Irritatingly, no! The wiring itself isn't that bad; it's from the 40's, which was when this house was originally electrified. The problem is really the panels; it has two fuse boxes and a breaker panel, and it has to be updated to unify them into a single breaker panel. Fuse boxes are now, apparently, in the category of "No, bad!" even if there's nothing wrong with them!

However, we worked it out; the seller is hiring someone, we're paying for half, and it should be done by next week.

Sigh!
