Hi Jenny, it's good to see you back! I was actually off-line for a couple of years myself, and only got back on in May I think. How sweet that you looked up my name right away... and I love that you consider me to be an old friend, that really made me smile and feel very warm and loved. :o)

Matthew just turned 24 on August 7th. I know there are a lot of people who marry younger than that and actually make a go of it... my two sisters come to mind, both marrying in their teens... but Matthew has only known this girl for about three months and dating her for two of them (and he only had two highschool girlfriends before this). That is my biggest problem with the "planning to get married next summer" that I have... they haven't given each other enough time to really get to know each other before going steady, much less for planning to get married. However, he did tell me the other day (and I was cheering loudly inside) that marriage would likely be put off for about three years now... he's out of work now (still looking), and she is considering quitting her job to go back to college, so there is no money for proper dates (they hang out here a lot... am I happy about it?... no, as I'm not really thrilled with this girl... but then I'm not the one dating her!) and much less for marriage.

LOL No, I'm not in the moving business (although that likely isn't a bad idea for Matthew and his best friend to get into, considering that they moved us, and then his best friend & his mother)... I'm just too stubborn to wait for Matthew to move something when I want it moved. I am a gemini remember, so when I want something done I would prefer it to be done yesterday, not later. LOL Matthew was out of the house and I really wanted the bookcase moved, so I did it myself, which really wasn't a smart move as I have Fibromyalgia and all my muscles paid drastically for the move later when I could hardly move myself.

As for my health... aside from Fibromyalgia, I also have Degenerative Arthritis and Degenerative Disc Decease (in my lower back and the back of my neck). My doctor told me I am no longer to work, and said for me to get myself on Disability. That's easier said than done... I applied last summer and was turned down, so I went to a lawyer to appeal the decision... my appeal hearing is on August 23rd. Then I have to wait probably another 6 to 8 weeks before I hear back if they reversed their decision or not. The lawyer said if they don't reverse their decision I can reapply.... that could mean another year before anything gets resolved. So I have my fingers crossed (makes typing very difficult. LOL) that it will be settled this time around.

Goodness, you really have been out of touch for a while (trouble with the neighbor, and trouble with the tree falling on the fence) haven't you? Later that summer (two years ago) the executor of my Mom's estate sold the house out from under us because we couldn't pay off the bills as fast as he wanted. After all my Mom's bills were caught up, we got the remainder of the money from the sale of the house (because the house was supposed to be ours according to my Mom's will) which we used as a downpayment on this house... four houses down the street from where we used to live. The buyer of my Mom's house tore the old house down (which Matthew was happy about as he would have felt bad seeing someone else living in the home he grew up in and that his grandparents owned), and hasn't done anything with the property except to park an RV on the back part of the yard. Matthew says that if he doesn't do anything with it by the time he has money, he would love to buy it back and build on it.

Anyway, the house we moved to is pretty nice. We have a garage/workshop (have never used it as a garage yet, so I might as well just call it a workshop), and a swimming pool here. The pool really does my Fibromyalgia good as I can move much easier in the water. I am nervous to get in or out of the pool without Matthew being nearby though, as it has a ladder to climb in and out... and I wouldn't want to be stuck in there until late in the night when Matthew comes home. (If I win a lottery *LOUD LAUGHTER HERE* I'll get a nice inground pool with steps and a handrail so I can walk in and out of the pool on my own.) Last summer was too chilly to use the pool most of the time, so I only had seven days that I got in it, and Matthew only went in five times. This summer has been much better pool weather and I've only missed four days.... Matthew has only actually been in the pool twice though... he'd rather spend time on the computer when he's home. He comes out to make sure that I get in okay, and then comes back out in a half hour to make sure that I get out alright.
