Thank you!

There have been a few friends who have responded here in the newsgroup as well as privately to me about my message that I posted very early this morning before I finally went to bed and passed out from sheer exhaustion. Just wanted all of you to know that my addressing the comments raised by the troll was more for your benefit than hers. I know that all of you care about me and believe and trust in me that I would never do anything like I have been often accused of doing, but I just wanted to reassure you that nothing has changed about who I am... and never will.

Yes, Cher, Matthew's girlfriend has had a lot to deal with in her own family and that is very likely the reason she so quickly turns to other people outside her family. Unfortunately a couple of the older (parentlike aged) people who have put on a "I'm your friend, you can trust me" face for her, actually turned around and stabbed her in the back by running back to her parents with information that she had freely given them while trusting that they were her friends. Matthew knows a couple of these people... they work at the same place, and when our (his and mine) relationship was strained back in the Fall, they zoomed in on him too with how they were his friends and that he could trust them. They stabbed him in the back too, by running to his girlfriend's parents with information that he didn't want them to know and caused all sorts of trouble.

I don't dig for information from Matthew's girlfriend... I respond when she asks my opinion about something. Often it isn't what she (or Matthew) was hoping my response would be, but they both know that I shoot from the hip and give my honest opinion and don't sugarcoat things to make anyone else happy. I say things the way I see them. It doesn't make a lot of friends that I am honest and opinionated, but that's who I am... I speak the truth and if that isn't what you want to hear, then don't ask my opinion. I will on rare occasions twist my words a little if it will keep someone (especially someone I don't know well enough to know if they can handle the brutal truth) from getting hurt feelings... like if I am asked "Do you like my new dress? and it is some God-awful mixture of horrid colours, I will say something like "It's VERY colourful and bright!" rather than say "That is butt ugly!" For the most part though... especially if it is something very important to the person asking... they get what they asked for, my honest opinion whether it's the answer they were hoping for or not.

Well, even though my arms are really hurting me today, I have to get some laundry done this morning and hang them out. It is gorgeous here, with bright clear blue skies and the air feels nice too. I can rest my arms later... my Mom used to say "The better the day, the better the deed." so I want to take advantage of the nice weather in case it's raining tomorrow.

*hugs* Gemini

Gem, keep on keeping on! Love, Noreen

Thanks Noreen... will do! I *really* have to get off here now, or the laundry won't get done at all. ;o)

*hugs* Gem

we'll still be here when and if you can

hugz Cher

:o) As you can see, I made it back. It didn't take too long to do, and while things were washing I went to the bank, checked the mail, and took the garbage bag out of the van. The hardest part was carrying the baskets of wet clothes to the clothesline, because of the two steps I couldn't just push the baskets. While hanging the clothes up, I rested my arms from time to time as they hurt more if I have them up for too long. Other than that, I was really enjoying being outside in the sunshine and fresh air. :o)

The dogs were enjoying themselves too. They were playing together, pretending to chase each other... then when Buffy tired of the game (she will be 14 in May), Casper continued to amuse himself... head on the ground and butt in the air and moaning loudly all over the place. LOL Thankfully he didn't get into rubbing himself (while rolling) on the grass... when he does that we end up with a green dog for a few days. LOL

Weird thing though... while I had my sandals on I was getting major cramps in *both* feet at the same time. So I took them off while hanging up the clothes and was standing barefoot (my favourite way to be in nice weather anyway) and the cramps went away. When I finished with hanging the laundry out, I started to put my sandals back on and my feet protested by getting cramps in them again... very odd.

Anyway, I should go find something to eat for a late lunch. I haven't eaten all day and I am getting hungry.

*hugs* Gem

I second that Gemini.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

good to see you back, we missed you, still praying things get better. Jenny

Thank you, Jenny, all prayers and good thoughts are welcome and appreciated! It's good to be back, I missed all of you too!

*hugs* Gemini

I think I lost my post, but I just wanted to say 'hi,' since it's been forever since I've seen you, and just hoping things are going a little easier for you today. :) If my hands weren't so full, I'd fly on up to see you and try to help out, but in the mean time, I hope my prayers are enough. :)

Allaya

That is very sweet, Allaya! Your prayers are more than enough, thank you! :o)

Yes, it does seem like forever since we've seen each other, doesn't it? I think (I could be mistaken though) the last time I saw you was just before you had your new baby. I have been away from RCTY for about 3 weeks or so, just popping in occasionally... but I am back now.. hopefully to stay, but time will tell that.

*hugs* Gemini

Well done you, we didn't want you leaving us at all...lol

hugz Cher

*grin* I didn't want that either! ;o)

*hugs* Gem

No and I don't want you leaving either! I am so proud of you Gem, the way you are keeping your chin up in the midst of all your problems. You deserve all the luck you can get.

I so much hope that something turns up soon. You are very much loved here you know!!!

O xxx

Great so we are all back on track again then...lol

Awww, thank you so much! :o) I love all of my friends here too! RCTY really is like a second family!

I guess about keeping my chin up in the face of all the problems... I had good parents who taught me what it means to face your problems, even though sometimes things do get to me and I need to cry and vent. And like Matthew and I have always said (and my parents used to live the same way) What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger! :o)

*hugs* Gem

Yep... even if worse came to worse and we did end up losing the internet (least of our worries)... I would likely pop into the library at least once a week to come on here and let you know I'm still around. I'd have to go through google though, and I'm not a big fan of doing it that way... although I *do* like their search engine. ;o)

*hugs* Gem

Hi Gem

Just jumping in here to say hi...I haven't been on here much due to other things being more pressing right now, but you've been in my thoughts.

Glad to see you still here.

Michelle

Thank you, Michelle! All thoughts (preferrably good ones LOL Sorry, I'm in a mood this morning) and prayers are welcome! :o)

*hugs* Gem
