Hi Gemini!
Stola is an Italian word as well :-) Of course it comes from Latin, but in current Italian, apart a religious garnment (the scarf used by priests and bishops during Liturgy), is used to designate a shawl, the large rectangular scarf sort.
HTH,
Anna Maria
Hi Anna Maria (such a pretty name)!
Thank you for your information on the word stola. It's neat to learn new words and their meanings. :o)
Peace! Gemini
