Although it has been a rainy week here, I can hardly tell because I am too busy looking through all the new bead treasures brought back from the Tucson show! There were so many new things I hardly know where to start! The freshest colors were all the shades of greens they are doing with the pearls, very natural and soft, they are mixing well with the pink and gold of the Spring fashions this year. The quality of pearls is getting better as well, as is the variety of coin pearl shapes, hearts, stars, bars, spikes, and I hear that they are coming out with a Mickey Mouse shape soon! Aquamarine and green/rose quartz made nice Spring mixes, Dyed Chalcedony was everywhere, in bright turquoise, mint green and pink shades, and rhodochrosite seemed to be more available, which I love! Large Pendants are still hot, and I have added a section for those. I was able to find a great deal on some apatite beads, as well as some nice tourmaline types. I have also added Beadalon, and silk cord, as well as some fun new clasps, and soon will have elastic cord!
