knit a sweater and use them for buttons?

Have someone slice them on a bandsaw into 1/2 inch pieces. Then use as beads or buttons. Make sure they wear a mask during the slicing, lots of really bad stuff in that dust.

Cut them with a saw into 1/4" rounds and make buttons or beads. Have someone with a lathe turn it for you for a pen or lamp pull. Use it for handles in your bathroom or on flatware.

Too many things to mention to do with antler. Can you tell I live with a hunter?

well lets see... maybe you could sharpen one end and make them into ink pens?

Hair sticks? Plant marker sticks?

Bars for a mobile or a hanging woven thing?

LOL - just being silly. My mom would love them and find something cool to do with them - they are so NOT my thing though.

Remember the abused woman who made dream catchers? I think she made some on antlers.

I've also seen some cool carvings, also paintings on them. Cribbage boards. Oh, that would be for moose, especially. Interweave them to make an antler chandelier. Or chair, with a leather seat.

If you have extras, I'd be happy to discuss taking some off your hands. Same goes for extra venison.

okay - i've seen some of those kinds of things. i don't think i'm up to that. maybe i'll just put them to one side for now. they don't take up much room and there are only two of them. sooner or later, something will hit the right note.
