I'm doing great! My stitches come out on the 21st, either that or they're the dissolvable kind...cuz he didn't say one way or another...not that I care...lol. I have a greater appreciation of people with mobility issues now. DH took me to the grocery earlier today, to get just a few things, and i used a motorized scooter. BOY, people are rude.

I did have a bit of an issue with a fever after surgery, but after heavy doses of antibiotics, we got that licked and I came home yesterday. I'm still working on typing up the entire, gory details, if any of you wish to have them. I can email them to you individually, because i don't think it's right to take up space here with that.

You've been on my mind for the past few days, and was wondering how you were, and i'm so glad to hear you're healing nicely, too.

Weeellllll, originally, it was Mexico.... And some say, it just about is still. Quite a few "BC" licence plates on the road here, and they aren't "British Columbia" ones. Lots of Spanish language billboards and bus ads, signs in store windows, bilingual notices from every govt. or utility agency that sends them, "Se habla espanol" on most Yellow Pages ads, "press 2 for Spanish" on those voice mail selections when you call any large organization, "bilingual preferred" in "help Wanted" ads (and, they don't mean German)....
