Evening everyone. :-)
I've got good news this time. My grandfather is now HOME and joyously happy that he is. The poor guy had no meat on his backside (he'd kill me if he knew I wrote that!) and he had to lay on a gurney for hours for a certain test and a bar was right under him. He told me thought about his own bed for hours while in the hospital. I spoke to him on the phone tonight (I wasn't able to visit him but once in the hospital because I was exposed to a stomach flu and was afraid I'd carry it to him), and he sounds so much better. They sent him home on oxygen though, which I'm sure he hates, but it's what has to be done. Thank you all for the vibes his way and the prayers. The word on rehab is "maybe" so far...it's ultimately his decision and he doesn't want to go into it sight unseen. Thank you all again.
