OT or is it?

I found this quotation in another newsgroup that I read. It's for members of EGA (The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc.,

It was thru the EGA that I've learned to love beading. The desire had already been there but I didn't know how to do *anything*. Several members of my local chapter are extradinary beaders and have shared their talents with those of us who were enchanted by those little glass bits. Funny thing about this quote - I joined the guild when I was 45.
