OT: update on ChocoBats

I have a Dollar Tree here! I am so there this weekend--I have got to see this phenomenal flavor for myself.

that is a crock - I have checked the local Jo Ann Fabric stores - and they don't have them - -and when I asked the response was "we get what we get, and can't order anything"

Dollar Tree had both the Cocoa Cats (very cute) and the filled pumpkins! (but no regular peeps).

They were located on a aisle towards the back - not prominently displayed like I expected.

I'll be having a taste test later :)

Later???!?? You mean they survived the trip home intact? I would have been munching on them before I'd gotten out the door of the store! However do you control yourself so well?

So are there pumpkin peeps *and* FILLED pumpkin peeps? I saw pumpkin peeps at Michaels last night, but didn't see any obvious indication that they were filled. I didn't get too close, though, as I'm on an avoid-processed-sugars diet, and I'll be damned if I'll let those little monsters draw me off track! (Oh, but how I do love peeps.)

I got a link from the Peeps folks at JustBorn - - to buy candy online. [They said not all JoAnn's etc. carry all the product line.]

I guess I'll have to order online since the nearest JoAnn's is a two-hour roundtrip drive. I know I'm just obsessed enough to make the drive, but I think I'll control myself - - this time.
