Wyatt is on a ventilator and improving slowly. He is expected to be in the PICU for at least 3 more weeks. The doctors have eased his muscle relaxants, and he's a little more alert, able to nod his head yes or shake no.
Keep praying for his recovery. Life at work is hectic without his mom (I'm answering 3 phones at once, and she's got too many jobs I can't do!) and she and her family will continue to be at the hospital until he is well and can come home.

Glad to hear he's doing better, but 3 weeks PICU is a long time. (Remembering a certain 9 month old who had lost 10% of her body weight to diarrhea and vomiting and I was told in the ER that she was fine (all 10 lb of her). She's 19 and in college now, but still very careful with antibiotics.)

I heard from his mom today. They took him off the ventilator. It's the best news I've heard all week!
