LE = LampworkETC

4WC = WetCanvas BBMB = Beads, Beads and More Beads BHV = BeadHive

Either sites for discussions like LampworkEtc or eBay groups helping to promote various things such as lampwork, jewellery or whatever. The initials help people searching eBay find things sold by various group members. It's a marketing tool as much as anything.

We use UKBM for the new UK Bead Makers group on eBay to help people find UK lampwork artists who participate in the discussion group.

There are a few groups out there, if you're interested in belonging to one, contact a seller who uses the intials and ask them about the group. If nothing else, it's another place to see and be seen.

Thank you Su...I guess I should have figured it out...but never would have thought people narrow it done by groups you belong to.

No problem, Cindy.

You'll find that some of the bead groups have a very large membership. I find that I check the group threads frequently for items listed as I don't have to hassle with filtering out the mis-represented items such as mass-produced beads in the handmade lampwork categories.

They can be a great tool for support or just a place to chat. And many of the people who belong buy a LOT of work from other members.
