Re: Dicro & Polomer

Why would a person want to vigorously wave fabric foil at a piece of clay? :-} Sorry, just couldn't resist. It sounds very interesting, did they really use the word brandish? I'm not familiar with fabric foil so are they rubbing it on (like gold or silver leaf)? Maybe the word is burnish (sp?)?

Maybe "brandish" is a new compound word - brand + burnish ? Was heat involved at all?

Uh I saw it, and I think the lady was brandishing her burnisher? LOL What I want to know, is where do you get this fabric foil, or foiled fabric? I also wanted to know what you would do with a glass plate with a faux dicro backing and polymer leaves around the edge? You can't eat out of it, can you? I guess I need for my crafts to be more practical - like BEADS!!! She didn't tell how she made the bead that really did look like glass encased dichro.

Maybe they taped on Friday the 19th (talk like a pirate day) and she was "brandishing" her tools!
