I don't use my real name when posting with this e-mail address (spamproofed or otherwise), but since you asked, it's Sharon. 8^D

I'm not a very creative person -- and I'm just dabbling with polymer clay -- but I love seeing the creativity of others. And boy, have I seen some beautiful things made by the people here!

Cheers, Turtlelover*

  • The reason for my love of turtles: When I was a very young child, the first pets we had were those little green turtles. We used to put them in dad's fish tank to let them swim with the fishies, and couldn't understand why the fish were disappearing! To quote you, Sooz, if I may, HAW!

And here we though it was turtle lover because you like it long and sweet and wild. (Excuse whoever said this, she's one of the weird ones here)

I'm glad you're here. Sometimes people get all stressed because they think this is supposed to be a group of professionals. It's not. It a group of people who love beads and beading. We do find, however, that we enjoy it more when as we learn more techniques and use better materials.

Someday I'll try polymer too. But I have all I can do for right now.

GOSH - doesn't EVERYBODY??? I saved the VALENTINE ones until about a week ago - they were sufficiently crunchy - yet still soft inside.

I bought a whole box of BLUE PEEPS at the grocery store... need to poke holes in the plastic so they will get crunchy...

I have just opened my last precious packets of peeps. I have been rationing them out and these are stale. Never the less they are still enjoyable Shirley

The cocoabats are **fantastic** stale. Frozen, too! They remind me of Charleston Chews - those old candy bars that were really long, chewy and covered with chocolate. Oh, save me!!!
