Lovely! I really like the delicate light rose one. Very pretty. Welcome to the group!
Oh they're so cool! I need a pair of protectors for my embroidery scissors and dressmakers! Now, I wonder if I could actually make a beaded point cover for the big ones. Nah, I'll stick to what you've done! =D

Very pretty and a great idea!!!

Joanne they are great.
Can I ask where you got the point protector bits from? I have been wanting to make a longer version of these for ages but couldnt find a source of the point protectors. :-)
Hey ally! It's you! I must send you my stars tomorrow.

Ok now I am confused There are so many people here from RCTQ! :-)
The ones I used are made by Clover and are the small knitting needle point protectors. I just wish I could get them in other colors! I got them at Jo-Ann Etc, but that might not be much help to you in the UK! I don't think you can order them on Jo-Ann's website.
I chose to use a head pin inserted through the point protector and then I formed the loop that the wire was attached to. Mill Hill makes a kit that uses little screw eyes and I guess you screw them into the point protector. I felt that the head pin was more secure. Mill Hill also strings them on Nymo. I chose to use soft flex wire and crimp beads. I thought they'd stand up better.
Many thanks for the kind words. I came up with the designs all by myself! (well...ok my husband helped a little....:)

Those are pretty nifty!
