I love it. Even the colors are pretty. The colors remind me of a river

The one you posted had three parts. This trumpet flower, the sepals at the base, and stamens (?).

The colors are a nice combination -- but for flowers?

And the shape is a basic flower shape. I like it very much.

My biggest problem with it (ie bidding on it) is the size. Especially in the heavy colors.

Oh, you're right!

Yes, jack-in-the-pulpit has those colors on the petals. ~~ Sooz

And some orchids too, maybe. And flowers who have showy sepals and tiny even petal-less petal. I was thinking subjectively.

Oh, right! I forgot the orchids.

I'm thinking of some bronzey-green metallic seed beads with some bronzey leaf beads with that lampwork bead Karen showed.....dark purple berry-type beads....etc. Deep dark magentas and such.....

That's pretty!

It seems to me that Lluvia Brito, whose work I find awesomely fabulous, made a sculptural boro flower a while back that was quite different from this one, but had the hole in the center. Did anyon else see this, or am I imagining it? I wonder if she takes requests? She is an extraordinarily talented young lady.
