I use PSP 6

I love it. Been buying beads, findings, and magazines, so I haven't updated my program. lol

The older trial programs were less well regulated. The trials now are well monitored and you can't get away with it.

Tina

Darn it, Alex! Couldn't you throw a couple of Photoshop Elements tutorials in there?

Thank you, Joce. I just downloaded the trial and will be putting your instructions to the test and have fun doing it.

here are a bunch of PS Elements tutorials:

- they have one on using layers too. I used to have Paint Shop Pro (8 I think) but when my computer died I lost it and don't know how to get it back. Maybe when I get my disk back it will be one of the things that got recovered - I hope. I don't want to have to pay for it again.

no, it was a download off the internet and I opted not to spend the extra for the CD and the other thing I'm missing is my email "receipt" for paymet - so I'm hosed that way too. If it's not on my disk when I get back whatever they can recover I will have to call them. For now, Photoshop Elements is working good for me. I also have the full Macromedia Suite but I don't use most of it.

I use it because my son helped me figure out what button does what and it suits my needs. I dont *get* the buttons on the legit version of Adobe (adobe something or other) that DH uses. I suppose I could learn it, but that would take time away from the things I really enjoy doing. Learning new programs is low on the list. :-)

There are scads of tutorial sites for PSE. I was just yanking Alex's chain about PSP.

I love PSE - and the cost is great! I've seen it for >$50 at the local Sam's Club. :-)

"receipt"

oh ok :) I on the otherhand am new to PSE and am still working my way around it - but so far it's really impressed me! I paid a lot more than that for it though, but it did come bundled with some other software (which I think is free to download off the web, so I really got ripped off!). I think we had this conversation already didn't we? Sheesh I'm losing it. I've had a really bad head cold for going on a week now - I think I've sneezed my brain loose.

Me! I use PSP 7. It's the best! I haven't upgraded to 8 yet, because I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles of 7. It's a multifaceted, complex program. But the best, in my view.
