Paint Can

I made a paint can as a gift for my DS's teacher. See what you think. It's in my webshots account in the Miscellaneous album.

Hi Sandy,

The cans are a really nice idea.... I love it, am gonna give that a go myself... my nephew is being christened this saturday and my sister is putting together a "time capsule" for him to open when he is 15yrs, pity I didn't get that idea a little earlier.... oh well.... I'm sure there'll be other occassions just perfect for me to give it a go. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Sandy! That is really beautiful! I think it was such a clever idea to put the brick paper on the bottom, making it look like a chimney and then the gifts inside! I could never think of something like that! His teacher is a lucky lady! Any ideas what you are going to put inside yet?

Sandy I love this can!!! I looked at it and thought, "I saw that raindeer paper and didn't know what I'd do with it. Sheesh, I need to start thinking outside the box!" Nice job, I know your DS's teach will love it!

Hi! Love the idea for a wedding 'can'.

Couple of years ago, we did a lot of painting of our deck and the back patio area and ended up with bunches of paint cans left over. We have

11 grandkids and were due to have all of them over the Easter Holidays. The weekend before, we had a crafting day where we used the cans as 'Easter Baskets'. Boy, did we ever devastate my crafting tubs!! ;-)

We usually go to the Marina and hide the eggs on the lawns there and have a bbq. Numerous parents ooohed and aaahhhd over our cans. Several were taking notes! LOL. Kids loved making them unique to themselves and it was very easy to identify whose 'can' belonged to whom. :-) Another great feature is the darned things stayed UPRIGHT.
