Cards for Troops - September Challenge

Oct 10, 2005 13 Replies

I thought I would let all of you know I did make some cards for the soldiers (with DS help as he wanted to sign the cards too). I used everything from my stash and from my scrap box. I can't find the list for the 'Use your stash' challenge to see what all I did from the list. With DH being sick I forgot to mail them to M-C in time. (M-C, I e-mailed you asking for the snail mail address to just send them on) I made 51 cards. They are in my webshots account in the Challenge album. Sandy

Sandy, what great cards!!! You are so talented and creative! I love them all, I'd like to say that I have a favorite, but it would be all of 'em.....

Way to go Sandy! All the cards look great, and I really can't pick a favorite.

Wow Sandy your and your DS were really busy. Your cards are great. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I just can't pass up any clearance scrapbook supplies. Last year after Christmas I raided Jo-Ann's clearance department - their little embellishments for mini trees and presents are perfect for scrapbooking. And I still had all of the scrap pieces of paper left from making my Christmas albums last year. Sandy

Thanks! I'm partial to the snowmen ones myself. I like making cards witht he pop-up inside. This was the first time I tried to make cards myself besides a few last year at Christmas and at Stampin Up parties. Sandy

Thanks! We had a great time working on them and deciding how to make them. DS decided he really likes glitter. Sandy

Great cards...Sandy! Looks like you had a great session carding with DS's help.

Take care, Marilyn
