I got my July Challenge done early. Usually I wait for M-C to do an extension and then get my behind in gear. I've never used this much wire before on a LO, but I've had this idea in my head for months just waiting to find time to work on it. After I uploaded it to my webshots account I rechecked the instructions - cart before the horse and found that I am short one color of chalk. I guess I can put some grass under the bunny. I've also never used a zipper before See what you think. Sandy

That's great Sandy! I love the tree....wow! WTG on getting it done early. I haven't even started mine yet....oops.
The whole LO looks fantastic, but he zipper idea is inspired. SO CUTE!
Lynne
Sandy, I love that zipper, and I like the way is is unzipped to reveal the picture..how cute!! I haven't seen one used on a LO before. Is the zipper just "any ol' zipper", or do you have to buy one in a LSS? Another thing I haven't heard of..what is utee? Anyway I really liked the pages! Linda C
Thanks! The zipper was in my monthly kit from my LSS book club. It had a strip of sticky stuff on both sides and I just peeled the paper off. It looks like just a plain zipper to me. From what I've read in the magazines people are digging zippers out of old sewing boxes to use. utee - Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel It goes on like regular embossing powder, but when you heat it it gets ever so much thicker, and you can layer it to make it even thicker...... Sandy
Thanks, Lynne. It was such a pretty green I knew it needed to be on a spring or Easter page. Sandy
Thanks, Deb. I had thought at first about putting on leaves and blossoms like a Dogwood, but when I was cleaning out the storeroom in the basement last week for the yardsale I found the eggs we use on the tree out back at Easter and decided to do an egg tree instead. Sandy
Love how you used the zipper!! What a great idea for the wire also. Congratulations on getting the challenge done early.
TFS!!!

I'm glad you liked it. I love challenges - especially looking at what everyone else does with the same "floor" plan and/or supplies. Then I set back and think 'Why didn't I think of that?' The inspiration I get from this group is awesome. Sandy
I must say that I agree with everyone! Looks wonderful, I am on board with Tammy about the zipper, great idea! Do you mind if I scraplift?
Hey Sandy! I really liked how the tree on your LO turned out. Very unique idea :) I might have to scraplift that idea sometime. Jennie
Great page Sandy. I love the way you used the zipper, so cute. The tree is really cute too.
I love your LO! The zipper is cute. Thanks for sharing.

Scraplift away. I think that is the ultimate compliment to a scrapbooker. Thanks! Sandy
Doing fine. I'm just in a creative mode. The ideas are coming faster than I can work. The 'matting' book which is part of the Elements box book set from Creating Keepsakes is inspirational. They are actually driving me crazy which is why I've been hiding in the office part of the evenings. It has rained for three days now and they can't get into the pool. If they get to swim for an hour or so after the daycare closes it wears them out and they fall asleep early. Did you know you have a new nickname? DS calls you 'Semi Dave.' Take care. Sandy
Hey! Jennie! Glad you finally made it here. Are you using Google? We did Ponderosa. You can jump right in and do the challenges, too. The requirements are listed on the rec website
